SKY MOUNTAIN PARK CANCELED FOR TONIGHT

May 29, 2019 by Rachel Beck

Dear Aspen Cycling Club Racers:

Pitkin County Open Space and Trails has notified us that we need to cancel tonight’s Sky Mountain Park mountain bike race. Trails are muddy and more rain is forecast this afternoon, so we need to stay off the course and let it dry.

This Roaring Fork Valley has not given us good bike racing weather so far this spring, and it saddens us to cancel so many early-season races. We hope warm, dry weather will arrive soon and the remainder of the season will be back on track.

Stay tuned for rescheduled race dates next week.
