Race Finish and Placement: This is a difficult race to score. As with other ACC races, finish order is done by visual spotting by race officials and volunteer Marshals. Please be sure to check in after your race with finish marshals to confirm your finish order! Confirming finish order improves accuracy, expedites and simplifies production of results. We do everything we can to try to place people correctly and need your help to make this happen.
Six (6) Marshals are needed in order to put on this event. Please encourage friends and family to assist with this spectator friendly race. ACC points will be awarded to members who give their time and effort to marshal. 30 points for the first race you marshal and 15 for all subsequent marshal days. New this year, every time members and non-members marshal a race your name will be added into a special end-of-season raffle- the more you marshal the more chances you’ll have to win. No experience required. Races won’t run smoothly without volunteer marshals! To volunteer, please email (new this year) Mouse at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 618-4626. Please let her know ASAP if you can Marshal!
Race changes and/or cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced at the Start.
Many ACC racers will likely head for the Woody Creek Tavern (an Aspen Cycling Club sponsor) for an informal post race gathering and dinner. Have some fun and support our sponsor!
